Who We Are

M.A.K Grupa is a Dubai-based concept development firm. We find gaps the market hasn't organised a solution around yet and turn them into original venture concepts for investors, institutions and partners.

Some of these are ready to build today. Others sit ahead of the market, waiting on technology, infrastructure or regulation to catch up, and we develop those anyway, so the concept exists before the moment does.

We do not simply advise on existing businesses. We originate concepts, assess their viability, structure the commercial case and determine what must be proven before significant capital is committed.

I spent more than 20 years working across security, close protection and crisis management in Europe, Australia, Qatar and Dubai, supporting government, corporate, industrial, hospitality and major-event environments.

Security teaches you to see what others miss before it becomes a problem. Close protection sharpens that further. You read the situation, assess what could change and make decisions before the risk becomes obvious.

I now apply that same eye to markets. Years spent working alongside governments, organisations and senior decision-makers showed me how systems operate, where they fall short and where a better solution might sit.

That's what drives M.A.K Grupa: finding the gaps other people walk past, and turning them into venture concepts worth building out.

Our Approach

We don’t build products. We build venture concepts with commercial logic, practical structure and a clear path to assessment.

M.A.K Grupa is not a venture studio in the traditional sense. We don't automatically co-build, co-operate or stay involved once a concept is handed over.

Our role is to identify the opportunity, develop the concept, build the commercial structure and prepare it for the right investor, institution, operator or strategic partner.

Every concept goes through nine checks before it is shown to anyone. Each stage can stop the concept. Several have.

We also take other people's ideas through the same process.

If you have a venture idea and need it tested, structured and prepared to a standard an investor or institution will engage with, we run it through the full sequence and hand back a developed concept, a commercial model and the documentation to present it.

Fixed fee, agreed in advance. You keep your idea and everything we build around it.

Some M.A.K Grupa concepts are developed for governments, public institutions and city-level partners.

These are not commissioned projects. We identify the gap independently, develop the concept at our own cost and prepare it to a standard where an authority can assess it properly.

Concepts have been developed for city and institutional contexts in Dubai, Serbia and Croatia, covering mobility, infrastructure, tourism, culture, public experience and urban development.

Where a concept sits in a public-sector context, we are explicit about what it is and what it is not. A concept is a concept until an authority decides otherwise. We make no claim of endorsement, review or affiliation and detail is shared only with the institutions and decision-makers it concerns.
